READY TO CLEAN!

Challenge Teams are prepared to meet the increased demand for CDC- and EPA-compliant sanitation services in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

Our trained, supervised, insured custodial crews have just undergone extra training in today’s best practices and are being deployed to public and private employers across the region, including Cayuga Medical Center.

We are only assigning those who are healthy and want to work through this crisis to these teams, we monitor our staff’s health daily and ensure that they are equipped with safety protections such as gloves and gowns when needed, and we have suspended our sick leave policy for the time being, so that anyone who is sick has paid sick leave and can stay home without affecting their pay. Here are the rates for this service––note that these are temporary rates in effect through December 31, 2020:

$16.00/hr per cleaner
$18.00/hr per supervisor/cleaner (if necessary)
$1.00/hr for materials (gloves, gowns, cleaning solution, etc.)
57.5¢/mi for travel (only outside Tompkins County)

We have a minimum charge of one hour for whatever team size you need, and our staff can help prepare an estimate of charges and schedule for you after discussing your situation and needs.
